To Eat or NOT To Eat?

Hey!

Looking at my brother savoring 2 heated frozen meat patties in between 3 slices of bread buns made me very curious. I got very inspired. No one can deny that food is simply a joy in life. Have you ever waited in your car, hungry, the McDonald’s drive through is just minutes away, temptation rising to meet the needs of your hungry stomach. Then finally you pull up, and a McDonald’s employee on the microphone says: “Hi, welcome to McDonalds, can I take your order?” and you say “Yes, I would like a (subconsciously thinking, Big Mac with a side of small fries and a small regular coke) grilled chicken snack wrap with a side salad with dressing on the side and a small diet coke.” Your mind really wants the Big Mac with some greasy fries to satisfy your cravings. You do not want to stray because you have exercised this healthy regimen for so long and it would be stupid to throw it all on a lame “calorific” burger with fries and regular coke. On the contrary my friend, you have actually chosen the wrong path. Indulgence once in a while is ok, in fact you SHOULD indulge in whatever you want for ONE day a week. One day, anything you want, anytime you want, just do not overstuff yourself or go overboard. You have to trick your body into “being ok” and content with some grease being fed into it. Because my friend one day you will get that BIG MAC and FRIES and REGULAR COKE despite what your mind tells you. It is just human nature. So, if you were never used to it before, your body might react differently. But if you allow yourself to indulge once a week, your body will be happier than it has ever been. My friends, one of my mottos: “MODERATION!” That is the key to life. Do not eat too little, do not eat too much, do not eat too healthy, do not eat too poorly. That motto does not only apply to food, it also applies to life. Take life swiftly and as it comes. Do not stress too much, or too little, because good stress is good for you, just do not over do it. So: Moderation, do not under-do things, do not over-do things. All in all live life as your "lovin it" and don't deprive yourself--don' overdo things though.

Would you eat this 'Big Mac' and french fries?

Hajer :)
