Thai Inspiration

สวัสดีค่ะ (sa-wat-dee-kah),

That is Hello in Thai!

Last night I went to Noodles and Company and I ordered a Thai dish called Bangkok Curry. I was highly inspired and could not shake the taste of it out of my mouth. So, I decided to make my own "Thai dish." I like to call Shrimp Teriyaki Rice Noodles. You can find the recipe on my blog, under Recipes. I used rice sticks, where they used riced noodles. Same thing, right? Anyways it was an amazing end to my fasting. I am muslim, and before Ramadan, our month of fasting, I like to prep a little to get used to it again. So I fasted that day. And boy, did this dish hit the spot. My whole family loved it. I guess I'm really into chopsticks now. Maybe that's what inspired me. Who cares, that dish really satisfied me. I'm enthusiastic to go to actual Thai restaurants and eat Thai food all day now. Anyways, I have to get back to watching my movie, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, really good movie! I think I am going to have to add this to my list of all-time favorite movies. What are some of your all-time favorite movies? Post them down in the comments below. Oh, and I am fasting again tomorrow--what to make...what to make? All I know is I am going to eat yogurt for my suhoor (which is a meal I have to eat before sunrise) Good night everyone :)
